Shouldn't really affect it that much when still running a front oneway. Only difference is that it may be a bit harsher on braking, but nothing to really be of concern. I am using the locked center pulley and I don't think I will EVER change from it, because if I want to run a spool at all, I can just put my spool in straight away and not worry about the center pulley.
