BREAK-IN

hi, i just bought a nitro car and im very new to this. i heard that u have to let it run about 4 tanks before u can actually do anything. i have been tring to do that but when i do start up the car, it throttle up so i turn it down and when it gets to idle it shuts off. can any1 help me with this

hi...theres many ways to idle but for sake I'd do this...

1. idle tank x 2 tanks
2. quarter and half throttle x 1 tank
4. half and quick burst of full throttle x 1 tank

I assume you are trying to say, the rpm's get loud so you turn down your idle for your controller? if so, don't turn it all the way down, let the car have some little rpm so when you brake it does not close the carby and shut the car off...
