Hey, I just checked out the PDNRacing calender and was suprised to see 6 events, the reason i didnt get into it last year was the fact that it was only half of that and wasnt worth the expense. I will be using a basic TT-01 with a 10 turn and 6 cell 4200 With a WRX 8O just for my first meet as there is not enough time to buy a new car. But by the second round i will buy a dedicated drag car. BTW From your experience what will my car run? (rough estimate)
Cheers Goza

what sort of speed do u think ur car could do ???

i don't actually race any electric cars but i got a Kyosho V-one S (series 1) with a $50 thunder tiger .12 in it that has run 3.38@56.25km/h

most of the electric cars run 3.5 or quicker (quickest being 2.2@100)

u'll hopefully there will be a 15-30 minutes practice session before qualifying

all classes r run head-ups as our timing system doesn't do DYO/bracket racing
u don't have to be the quickest guy in ur class to win (the fast electric guy have troubles with belts breakin (the track record is held by a out of the box tt-01 with a brushless and a 9.6v cell pack from memory)
