the next On Road Race meeting is on May 2nd. (enduro)
the next On Road Race meeting is on May 16th.

2006 Enduro
The first Enduro for 2006 is scheduled for the 2nd of May. This promises to be a real test of man and machine as this time were only allowing 1 car per team. Get your entries in soon.
<http://www.actmcrc.org.au/2006_2Hour.htm>. Don’t forget that there will also be a number of 10 minute races for Stock, Mini and 540. We will also accept entries for the enduro on the night.

Interclub round Two. Tempe.
We’ve given all the other clubs a head start, now it’s time to show ‘em what were made off. Round two will be held at the Sydney Model Autosports Track in Sydney (<http://www.smaracing.org/>). If you’re thinking about going, contact Mark at racing.

Offroad Fun night.
Everyone had a blast at the fun night with the eventual winners being: Micro’s: Rodger, Buggies: Mark and Trucks: David. Jake Anderson took victory in the ‘hill climb’ by being the only driver to be able to casually drive his Tamiya Buggy on to the drivers stand via a ramp set to 66+ degrees. David Bird took victory in the Drag Racing with a 3.265sec run.

Offroad Trophies.
Due to a supply problem, we were unable to award trophies at the Offroad fun night. The trophies will be awarded on the 25th of April.

On Road Club Championship.
One of the closes and best club championships has finally drawn to a close. Congratulations to everyone who competed.

Novice: Both Alan and John were piped at the post by Goran for 3 place after count back. Daniel drops to 2np place by just 3 points to Steve. Novice as become one of the biggest classes over the past few months and everyone who competed deserves to be congratulated

F1: The sheep stations were defiantly on display for the final round in F1. Nigel and David took the battle to the line with Nigel just beating David to 2nd place by 2 points in a tie break situation. (Ties are broken using a drivers total score for the championship) Rick proved to be the class of the field by taking victory with 7 points

Mini: After missing the last few rounds both Michael and Dion plummet to 5th and 6th. New to racing, Jayson found him self in 4th place only 3 points from 3rd place getter Adam Gustafson. Zac scored 2nd and Shane Kelly proved to be the class of the field by taking victory.

540: Ian was unfortunately beaten to 3rd by Aaron Marshall, Brian netted 2nd and the Shane took over all victory.

Stock: With a poor run in the last round, Rick dropped to 3rd place just holding off Marco by 1 point. Ian eased into 2nd place and Rick Austin took victory.

Modified: In sight of the finish line, Mark did a ‘Button” and in sight of the finish, failed to finish, resulting in a drop to 3rd place, Roger finished 2nd and Michael won..
