And as usual I can't get out of my kitchen!!

Hope you all have a good day racing today.

Gardey, my offroad track is cut and almost completely laid now...just waiting on some more surface to arrive. Any chance you and Jack might like to come down for a session??? Need to grab that 19t at some stage soon.

Actually the track will be open to the general public on weekends (only). Stay tuned for more details when the flag falls!!

chiz,

Hi Matt,I hate to put a damper on things but be careful opening up to the public unless your insured properly. Some ahole will surely try & sue you !!

I'd love to come & have a run with you & we will as soon as we get time.
If your coming up during the week for a run ,let me know & i'll joinyou if I can.
Your motor is still in my consul !!

don't worry about public liability...we have enough...

somehow I manage to cull aholes in my life anyway!! Besides, I imagine we will get about three people a year racing here!!!

Speaking of aholes , hope you're keeping my motor warm in your consul!!

i can make it to the track on Tuesday or Thursday if you are keen.

how was the venison??? where was it from???

I dont know at this stage where I'll be, but I'll let you know if I can make it.
The venison was shot by a friend of a friend & was pretty good.We gave up on the Webber & BBQd strips off it.(we would still be there waiting otherwise.)
A good days racing generally & I had my first win in 1/5 th.
Unfortunately I took Justin out in the previous race when by brakes died & then my steering servo spat it as well.Poor ol Justin ended up being my brakes & steering at the end of the grid straight.(into the workshop for him)
We are going to get back to 2 weekly meets I think. We had a vote today & the majority are in favour at this stage.
The proof of the pudding will be in the eating though ,when we see what numbers are turning up.
If we are going to keep running a points series , I think most will be keen apart from those who just can't make it ,like Mick Alford etc.
I don't know what can be done to even things up in that situation but.
Just have to grin & bear it I suppose & hope he can get a win or two in the club titles in December.
All in all though I think its a positive to get more meets in & generally most people will get more opportunity to race more often.
So I think we are on again in two weeks. :D :D :D
